ELASTICOTE AQ is a water based peelable booth coating to protect metals, plastics, porcelain etc in the working environment. By topping up or replacing dirtier areas, its use is economical whilst still being easily removed by peeling from any surface, even when covered with paint for many months.
Being water based, its use will dramatically reduce the use of VOCs
It is also extremely flexible and can be removed with paint after several months, reducing the maintenance of spray booths
Dries within 8 hours at 20°C in air (water based)
Non-flammable so improved health and safety
Insensitive to organic solvents and water
Neutral (does not attack ferrous or non-ferrous metals or wood)
Apply in a thick layer with a traditional spray gun with large nozzle (or slightly diluted with water) or pure with a brush or roller to obtain a film which resists lifting at 80-100 microns. Coverage approx 5m2 / kg.
