booth coating description
ELASTICOTE AQ is a water based peelable booth coating to protect metals, plastics, porcelain etc in the working environment. By topping up or replacing dirtier areas, its use is economical whilst still being easily removed by peeling from any surface, even when covered with paint for many months.
Elasticote AQ is designed to receive additional coats upon the original. In fact it prefers additional coats. So there is no need to remove the original coat when it becomes dirty, simply brush the surface to remove any loose dust and apply a new coat. Many of our customers apply 3-4 coats before removing. If your walls have a thick layer of paint then it is best to remove the area before applying a new coat, this may not have to be the whole booth but just part of a wall.
Being water based, its use will dramatically reduce the use of VOCs. It is also extremely flexible and can be removed, together with paint, after several months reducing the maintenance of spray booths.
