Tacky Coating - Protecnet a tacky coating to protect jigs, walls, lights, windows and parts from paint and dust
Tacky booth coating, Protecnet, is designed to attract dust and paint spray particles from the air preventing air pollution and the contamination of parts. Protecnet is an electrostatic tacky coating to be applied, as a liquid, to surfaces where paint overspray is a problem, such as within spraybooths, scrap areas, grinding areas, storage and disposal areas. Even where the atmosphere appears clean, such as vehicle interiors, air movement soon reveals hidden dust. A tacky film on such surfaces turns them into a magnet for dust and may be wiped clean with water, avoiding the use of solvents. Ideal for lights and glass within a spraybooth.
Protecnet H is heat resistant and ideal for dust in powder coating ovens.
APPLICATION Apply with a brush, roller or spraygun on all non-porous surfaces. Immediately after application the tacky wall coating begins to attract dust and paint particles and will not lose its adhesive quality, even in temperatures of 80ºc for long periods. On eventual loss of adhesion when the Protecnet is full, the first layer should be washed off before applying a new layer.
Protecnet Coverage - 1-litre tacky coating covers approximately 15m2
